Sterling silver, Fine silver, Big Dipper, 19P
Gorgeous rare purples and pinks shimmer across the face of this iridescent labradorite.
The 1st Nations people of Labrador have a legend of how the Northern lights were trapped in the stone until a warrior freed them, and some of the energy remained in the stone. This is a perfect explanation for labradorite.
Labradorite is said to be a powerful protector, shielding the energetic body from negative energy, it is known to connect the wearer with the magical realms and stimulate creativity.
I have set this Northern lights energy in fine silver on a solid sterling silver band textured to look like an outer space object, with the Big Dipper on either side of the band. Inside the ring band you will find the stamp 19P, Google “19P comet” to discover the name of the comet that was visible at the time I made this piece.
This beauty fits a size 8.5 nicely
